How to Report an Error

Correction Process

  1. Verification: We verify the reported error against the original sources.
  2. Correction: If the error is confirmed, we update the article and add a correction note at the top of the page.
  3. Notification: The correction note includes the date of the correction and a description of what was changed.
  4. Record: All corrections are logged in our internal database for accountability.

Types of Corrections

  • Factual error: A statement that is objectively incorrect (e.g., wrong date, wrong number, wrong entity). Corrected immediately.
  • Clarification: A statement that is technical correct but ambiguous or misleading. Clarified with additional context.
  • Retraction: An article that is fundamentally flawed or based on false information. The article is unpublished and a retraction notice is posted.

Transparency

Corrected articles display a correction notice at the top of the page. We do not silently edit articles to fix factual errors — all corrections are visible to readers.
