The Briefly Pulse uses automation and artificial intelligence to produce source-linked news briefs. This page explains both the workflow and its limitations.
Where automation and AI are used
- Monitoring: Scheduled software scans news feeds and groups related stories. This feed collection does not require a language model.
- Editorial work: AI assists with story selection, drafting, revision, and assessment of source support, clarity, and originality.
- Image review: Visual AI helps evaluate whether an actual source or official image matches the story. Generated news imagery and generic stock fallbacks are not permitted for automatic publication.
- Publishing: Eligible articles can be published automatically after passing the configured quality and security gates. Failing candidates are held back, revised, or skipped.
Checks are not guarantees
AI can invent claims, misunderstand sources, and overlook contradictions. Our rules prohibit invented citations and unsupported assertions; source, duplicate, factual, and image checks are designed to catch problems. A high model score is not proof that a claim is true, and unresolved accuracy fixes must not be overridden by a passing score.
Different websites can repeat the same wire report or statement. Multiple links do not necessarily mean independent firsthand confirmation. Read the linked sources for context, attribution, and developing details.
Oversight and corrections
The site is operated by MFS Corp. Automated publication does not imply that a human editor has reviewed every article. Operational reviews and reader reports help identify problems; errors can still reach publication.

Learning and improvement
We record production outcomes and recurring failures to identify improvements. A daily diagnostic scorecard supports this review; it does not retrain the models or authorize the system to weaken publication safeguards. Changes require testing and verification.
